All the main elements of the composition are salvaged: the windows in the partition walls, the stoves, the doors, even some additional structural beams, they were all collected along the years from houses under demolition or so-called "rehabilitation". None was bought from antique shops, just salvaged from junk yard. It is a nostalgic approach, quite awkward in a city where heritage monuments are torn apart over night. In this respect it is a manifesto against what is happening today in Bucharest.
