laborator cocktail bar 2011
In the bucharest historical center, LABORATOR is a cocktail bar and club with the features of a chemistry laboratory (cause it s all about mixing!). the MIX: furniture from an old drugstore, reclaimed parquet from a demolished house, the vent ducts from a typography, same as the faience, the black and white cement flooring tiles from a pharmacy. the lamps are custom made out of plumbing pipes. couches are custom made, vinyl upholstered, with a 50s american dining touch.
Tables and chairs are a left over from the client, we strongly hope to change that. the chemistry bottles and 1920s ads come from private collections.
